  1. I have an MCM dresser nicer than that that I'll sell you for $100. :) I have a matching desk, corner drawer and mirror to go with it! (extra, of course!!)

My mom and I picked up that bookcase for $10 at an antique show a couple months ago.

I do like the lamp. Did you buy any of that stuff?

  2. Hi, Barbara.

Wow -- you scored!! I love a great deal like that, too. I think the lamp is cool, but I'm on a no-buying kick. We bought some 1960s dressers last month and now we're fairly set.

What I REALLY want is a storage bench. Urban Outfitters has an orange one I'm coveting, but refuse to shell out the $250. Surely I can get something cheaper, don't you think??

    Thanks for stopping by today!

  3. Jennie: Yep, I hear you about not shelling out big bucks!! My problem is that I love Apt. Therapy, Urban Outfitters, etc., but I have a Goodwill budget!!

Would you be interested in a painted version of that bookcase, because I have a friend who has a store (the one I got the first one for $10) and I'll bet I could get it for you for the cheap!!

  4. I hear you, lady! I really appreciate the offer, but I wouldn't have anywhere to put the bookcase. Maybe one of our readers would be interested in your friend's store, though?
