Dear Retro-luxe Friends,
Guess what? Don Draper's favorite cocktail is an old fashioned, the same as lil' ole me!
Here's what you need:
4-6 dashes aromatic bitters
½ tsp sugar dissolved with water and bitters
2 shots bourbon or rye whiskey
1 cherry (I usually rinse that cloying syrup off)
1 orange slice
Splash of club soda
Here's what you do:
In a rocks glass, make a muddle with the bitters, sugar and water. Fill glass with crushed ice. Add bourbon. Pour in splash of soda. Add cherry, and orange slice.
